Mongia School is the brainchild of Dr. Gunwant Singh Mongia, Founder & Chairman of the Mongia Group of Industries. Dr. Mongia is one of the most respected and leading industrialists of India, based out of Jharkhand. He is involved in a range of social work both as an individual and as the Chairman of Mongia Green and recognised as one of the leading philanthropists of the country. Through Mongia School, he wants to provide quality education, better learning environment to underprivileged children. The building of school is eco-friendly, unique and first green building in Jharakhand State, designed by ‘The Centre of Science and Technology for Rural Development’ , a n organization founded by famous “Laurie” Baker, renowned British born Indian Architect. The vision of Dr. Gunwant Singh Mongia to adapt alternative & innovative teaching approach along with sustainable & experiential learning. Therefore, the Campus has water harvesting unit, waste recycling unit, bio gas plant and organic farming roof area. The campus has stimulating learning environment so that students can learn by doing. The teaching practices can make our future generation sensitive towards environment, learn life skills to empower their own community, and lead holistic development.

Education At Mongia School
Education at ‘Mongia School’ is based on New Education Policy 2020 and NCERT learning Outcomes. Our alternative education approach will help students to understand oneself and develop strengths, skills, and talents that one needs and wants. This education can guide them to create their journey, live their own dreams, and add value to themselves and surrounding every day. This education system ultimately accomplishes the motto of Mogia School ‘Be Your Own Light’
For the Academic Year of 2022-2023, Mongia School is starting with Foundation & preparatory classes (1st to 5th) for the age group of 6 – 11.
Mongia School will facilitate the process of empowerment through community participation, quality education and conserving environment with spreading awareness about sustainable ecofriendly practices.
